Synopsis
I loved him first.
Jake was my best friend in college-my very straight best friend, until one night he was more. He may have run after what happened between us, but I never forgot him.
When fate puts us in the same place, five years later, he has a fiance by his side. Carina is beautiful, driven, and draws my attention almost as much as he still does.
A game of truth or dare leads to a wild night and a relationship that has our feelings growing into something bigger than any of us intended.
But what happens when our feelings deepen? Can I handle being with two people?
If it means I can have him, I’ll love them both.

Review:
The Lovers: Cards of Love by Fiona Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Where to start?! Oh my god! I’ve been dying for this book to come out and once I got it, I didn’t want to race through it, cause I didn’t want it to end, but of course I couldn’t put it down! Fiona knows how to draw you in, weaving a web of intense passion, you don’t want to miss a moment of it.
If you’ve read Voyeur, you’ve met Jackson… I loved him in Oaklyn’s story and I couldn’t wait for him to get his own, find out what drives him to work himself over. However this story is really of Jake, Jackson’s best friend from college, and his journey of finding out who he is. After his fiancée, Carina, tries to find a way to deepen the feelings between them, they invite a third (enter Jackson) to join them. As the lovers start to explore themselves, where the true relationship lies starts to shift, and Jake is forced to face desires that are staring him down.
I’m not big into M/M, just cause it’s not my jam, but by the end of The Lovers… Fiona may have changed my mind entirely! Make sure that you add this to your TBR, cause you definitely want to get this one!
