Jessica has been a favorite of mine since the beginning of her career with Heartbreak Warfare, and each time she adds a new story to her library I can never get enough. Until Valerie is no different. Former military? Check. Yummy alphas? Check. A dash of suspense? Double check. I loved that I could connect with the characters on the page, and that she made me want to find that “BOOM” in my life. Plus her way of blending her Let Me In world with Aurora Rose Reynold’s Happily Ever Alpha world, SPOT ON. There were characters on both sides that had me giddy upon recognizing them.
Rowan is a navy SEAL vet, who makes his own way regardless of what those around him think, and when he sets his eyes on something he wants, he will fight, or in this case, charm till he gets it. Add in one work driven Valerie, who is striving to show the men in her life that she is deserving of all those accolades and more, and you get one hell of a BOOM! The chemistry between the two is instant and you can’t help but want to get caught up in their world wind of suspense, drama and romance.
A perfect addition to this amazing collective of writings!
